Where We Started
R.L. Johnson Financial Center was founded in 1990 to give families and small business owners in Harrison, Ohio a place to handle their investments and their taxes without juggling separate providers. At the time, most financial firms treated investment advice and tax preparation as two disconnected services — clients were left to carry statements and paperwork between offices themselves. Rich Johnson built the firm to close that gap, offering both under one roof from the start. Over the years, the practice grew beyond Harrison to serve clients across Cincinnati, Greater Cincinnati, and Southwest Ohio, while keeping the same person-to-person approach it started with.
